The Federal Cyber Stalking Statute -

 

Diane Rehm recently interviewed Professor Danielle Citron, author and expert in online stalking.   She mentioned the lack of enforcement of 18 USC 2261.

 

 "But from the three year period, from 2009 until 2012, there are only 10 cases prosecuted under 2261, which is the federal cyber stalking statute. So there -- they have the means, the law, but their will, of course, is the question."
